Anyone remembers some construction game set, named as i remember “Construx” or something like that, that comes in a black and blue hard suitcase. It has black, blue, grey pieces and a manual to construct this like ships, spaceships, etc.. : toys
You have the name right, it’s literally Construx. I had a ton of them. You have to search “Construx fisher-price” or add “1980s” to the search because that name was re-used later for a different thing.
The case you describe is not something all sets had.
